So, as i've mentioned in previous posts, i'm in a band.
If you haven't noticed yet, i'm also the guitarist...although if you haven't noticed that then perhaps you should get smacked up in the face a couple of times by a big italian henchman named Wrench. :P
This is pics from a show I played in the past.
This was taken at the first performance of AFS, debut show
This was our second performance. Probably my favourite one to date, as a lot of my favourite pictures were taken at this one, not to mention that this would be one of those moments where "you never know who's in the crowd watching"
This is from our third show. I'm obviously emo here, or maybe not. It was also the first show where I debut my BC Rich and Mesa amp.
A picture of our last show we've played so far. Also unfortunately the first and last show with that singer.
At the moment we're going to be going back to the studio to cut yet another album, with me taking up the vocals. Meanwhile, we'll be looking out for new singers.
ps. It's funny, I didn't notice this until after I overviewed this post, but look at how each member's equipment steadily grows more and more. I get a mesa cabinet, the bassist gets an extension cab as well, and the drummer gets a rack with 3 more toms.

AFS Drummer
A short video taken of my drummer during his drum solo for one of our songs. It was taken on a phone camera, so the quality is crap.
A little about me and my interests
Hey, what's up everyone. The name's Kleomenis Tubanos, but i've adapted a smaller and easier said nickname, Klaus. So everyone who knows me or will know me, just refer to me from now on as Klaus. Only a select few individuals are allowed to call me by my real name, and even so...when they do, they attempt to hit the bottom of my foot with their face.
There are a few things that I enjoy doing...for one, i'm an avid gamer. Those of you who are reading this blog or are in my class will quickly notice that I have an extensive collection of gamer paraphernalia of which I get for free from my job (EB Games).
No, I do not spend money on it, they're not worth it.
What I do like to spend my money on, however, is music. I've got a few guitars, and i'll post a few of them up.
This one is an older Ibanez. It was made sometime in the 70s and it's a very rare collectors. I got this from my father who passed it off to a famous musician in the 80s, and later on in the 21st century he reclaimed it and gave it to me. I don't play it, I just keep it on display
This is my fender. Every guitarist has to own a fender strat or fender telecaster. This one is a strat that was custom made for me. It's decent, but not my field of guitaring.
This...is the beast. The BC Rich Beast model, I love it. Got it when I was in the states for a mere $400 american. I use it for my shows whenever i'll be playing in an alternate tuning (typically drop D) and for heavier tracks.
This is my first guitar. An Ibanez...can't remember the model name. I used it for the first 4-5 years or so of my guitaring life and my first band, Faethon. Good times with that guitar, it's a piece of crap compared to what I use now, but for what its worth, it's a gem.
This is my baby. the musicman sub1 model. I'm saving to buy myself a musicman jp model, which will set me back about $3000 but it'll all be worth it. I got this guitar about half a year ago and haven't put it down since. The picture was taken from my band's second show in Newmarket at a nice little place called Good Times Cafe.
I have a few other guitars that I haven't taken pictures of. I've got 2 acoustic nylon string guitars, as well as a steel string one. I also have another Ibanez electric guitar, a 7-string ax model, which i'm using now for some newer songs for the low B.
I've also got my other set of sound equipment, but I won't bore you with it. Just know that the head is Traynor and the body is Mesa Boogie.
Very nice :)

Rockstar Energy Drink
Check out this commercial made for visual skills in his first semester, currently a fourth semester student from S@Y. It features a song by my band, AFS, entitled "Funk That Swing"
Pursuit of...
KNOWLEDGE! *Laughs at misconceived readers*
I bet you thought the title would say Pursuit of Happyness, the said one-time flick lest it jerks a tear from the pansy medium which is unfortunately us (myself not included)!
Anyways, the days starts out with me sitting in a chair in front of two monitors...well, a desktop and a laptop to be more specific (even though they're both on the desk) typing voraciously away at my keyboards (yes, plural) while rubbing sleep away from my eyes and pondering why this class has to be so early in the morning.
For people who have to commute, I feel your pain. Having to wake up 2-3 hours prior to class just so you can regain your motor skills and get a handle on your bearings...it can be a difficult task from time to time but hey! We gotta learn to deal with it, just like i've been doing for the past year or so. Ton of fun...
But I guess overall there's no real point to this short blog...or post...whatever. Just some random thoughts from an extremely tired kid sitting in class while trying to figure out what his blog should actually be about.
PS. The cynically happy dude on fire in my profile is Gouki. Don't mess with him or he'll hadouken your ass :P
